I have a 27 spline, open carrier available for a 8.25� axle. Has 2.94 gear and pinion and bearings still look pretty fresh (no scoring visible to naked eye).
If you have a 2.26 or 2.47 gear in your 8.25�, this carrier and gear set will not fit your axle housing.
