Just installed a remanufactured manual steering gear on my 73 duster compaired old one to new one they looked the same ,so i bolted it on then went to install the old pitman arm and it would not fit ,spline opening is to small so after some research i found there is two size splines on the manual steering gears 72 and back small sector 73 and up large sector well the one i replaced had the small sector with a small sector pitman arm for a 73, from what i found ,because the the bolt goes down thru the centerlink not up like 72 and back. So i need a 73 pitman arm with a large sector, from what i found in 73 there were different pitman arms for manual and power steering K7075 manual K7076 power steering but also found that k7075 is small sector so im thinking k7076 might work with the steering gear i installed with the large sector, parts got mixed and matched back in the day. So i wondering if anyone has any input on my latest issue Thank you for any help. Roger, Does the 73 power steering gear use the same large sector spline?
