Sorry for what is likely a redundant question but I am looking for a bit more help on this topic. I have seen the pictures the Snoopy posted and I am still unclear as to how to remove the tumbler from the latch. First a bit of detail. I have a locking glove box latch and the knob simply spins. Even if unlocked I still need to use the key to get in the glove box. Don't think this is how it should work. So I have a new tumbler that I want to install and wanted to ask if I need to remove the glove box door in order to get to the release tab shown in Snoopy's picture in order to remove the old tumbler. Sitting in the passenger seat looking at the latch I do not see the tab Snoop refers to but want to make sure I am not missing something before removing the door or if there was a trick to accessing the release tab if it is indeed in the back of the latch from the passenger seat view point. Hope this makes sense, thanks for the help.
