OK Guys........
I have the car (Dart Sport) in the garage, and I'm ready to tackle the tailshaft bearing problem if I can get some clear step by step directions on it.......
I posted a while back that the bearing sounds like it's rattling pretty bad in there...the driveshaft was previously out of balance and sticking out too far at the tail....caused some problems I think......There's a bearing and bushing in there, correct? I think they're really boogered up...........
It really rattles now at a dead cruise...pressure on or off the throttle loads it, and it quiets down..........but it's getting worse. (the rattles are coming from inside the tailshaft housing, under the hump).
I've been told that I can change this myself.........Can you guys give me a step by step on just what to do with this thing? :read2:
