I'm working on my chrysler Newport from 1968.
I got the steering column out today and I have some questions.

My steering column is missing the gearshift operating indicator lever all together. Is this a loose part and how should it be attached to the steering column?

Also. It seems like someone changed the turn signal switch. It has new wires with different colors and loose terminals....
