Hey, been reading for a while, first time writing. I have a 77 Power Wagon 4X4. It has the 440/727 full time 4 wheel drive. Looking for a carb to replace the Carter Thermo-Quad on it now . Edelbrock vs. Holley or do I rebuild this one? Anyone have good luck with a Thermo rebuild? I hear that they warp and the plastic fuel bowl is problematic? How about rims and tires. It has the 16.5 rim now. Tires are expensive could be switching to 16 size rim, but here are the questions.... What years fit?? As far as the 16.5 8 lug will all Ch--Y and F--D fit my DODGE. Some say there is a difference in the hub size. They say to just get Dodge rims the others have too big a hub. And if I do switch to a 16 inch 8 lug rim what year DODGE rims will fit? I will have more questions as I go along. Thanks!!!
