Ok we have had this 383 in out barn for probably 10 years and I finally talked my dad into letting me build it. We have no history on the motor it just came with my dads coronet. I took a few pictures so y'all could help me identify exactly what I have. I'm shooting for around 450 hp. I need all the help I can get. What would be a good cam? I want it to sound kind of lumpy at idle, but this will be a street car. Should I use these heads and what should I have done to them. Do you think it needs bored out? The ridge is just barely there. Any other information you have will be much appreciated. I'm only 18 and this will be my first build.
