I'm doing a engine swap , so I'm looking to pair a 93 360 magnum with a A999 trans on my 88 dodge ram b250.
I got this early magnum who came with is flexplate attached to it and I notice there no weight welded to it but only few holes , therefore I can't be 100% sure that is the original stock flexplate of this engine.
I heard a lot about the importance of the balance of the 360's and seen many 360 mag swap with the weighted flexplate .
And I'm a bit confuse when I'm looking to a part shop because you can find on the market both of the flexplate, some with weight and some without .
So I'm wondering if someone could confirm if the flexplate is correct or isn't. Is the 360 mag did evolved at some point that they change the flex plate and harmonic balancer ?
