360 crankshaft

I think ,,,,,,,,,,I may've posted this before , but I honestly can't remember . I got a 360 crankshaft . I had it turned down to fit a 318 . I was bragging on it and a fellow told me that it would break on high RPMs . I thought about hardening it , but never did . It's never been installed . Still sitting where I put it . Now I'm getting antsy again so I contacted Mancini Racing . This is what they said ;

Shorty

Its hard to say what will work due to many variables. Quality of the work, what you started with and assembly. You are best talking to a reliable crankshaft company in your area about the work they can do for you.

You can use a cast crank in low rpm applications and live. It just depends on the environment.
