I've been offline for far too long, sorry for that but it couldn't be helped.
I saw in Car and Driver that Jeep is bringing bck the Scrambler (or something very like it) so instead of trading my 2001 Ram I've decided to hold onto it and wait for the Jeep. The only real problem I have with the Ram is the 5.2L engine is underpowered for a truck that size. I want to upgrade the engine to a 5.9L and I'm wondering what you guys think. Obviously the block and computer will need to be changed but what else? Is it worth the trouble?
On a side note, I'm overseas until next autumn and while I'm away a friend is painting Old Red (my 1989 W-150) for me I'll post photos here as he sends them to me.
