I have a 1965 Plymouth Fury III with a poly 318 in it. I am trying to swap out the poly block and was just wondering what would be a good alternative and least amount of hassle. To be honest, I am VERY new to swapping motors but am learning as I go. I was thinking of maybe a 318LA. Would this mount right up? and if not, is it going to be a big hassle getting it to work in my Fury III? Sorry for the ignorant question, but as I said, I am learning as I go. The specific one I was looking at was a 318 in a 1977 sport fury. Thank you all for ANY advice at all you can give me. I am anxious to buy a new motor and trans for it, just not sure at all what I should be looking for, as in what year I should be looking at and etc? :(
