V8 Jeep Wrangler

Hi all!
I recently finished a major (for me) project and wanted to share a bit.
I bought a 1992 Jeep Wrangler about 4 years ago.
It came with the 2.5L/AX5/NP231 with the Dana 30/35 combo.
The trans was crunchy so I converted it to the AX15 trans using a bellhousing from a 2.5L Dodge Dakota.
This was great until the Dana 35 blew up (it had the Superior Super 35 installed).
I bought an 8.8 rear differential from a 1996 Ford Explorer and regeared it to 4.88's with an ARB air locker. I also regeared the Dana 30 to 4.88.
This last August the little 4 popper was getting long in the tooth at 160,000 miles and I was getting set to swap to a 4.0.
Well, my best bud managed to talk me into doing a V8 swap...which he had just undertaken himself on his own '92 YJ.
I found a 1992 Dodge MPFI 5.2L out of a truck for a good deal, it came with the computer and harness.
I rebuilt the engine over the summer, and started collecting parts.
I used Novak engine mounts to install it to the Jeep frame.
I am using a 3.9L Dodge Dakota bellhousing to bolt it directly to my AX15 with a 5.2L Dodge clutch kit and 5.2L flywheel.
I integrated the Dodge 5.2L engine harness into the Jeep power distribution block and body harness. The FSM's for the Jeep and Dodge were priceless.
I just had the exhaust built 2 weeks ago using manifold to a Y-pipe into a 3" Magnaflow universal catalytic convertor through the AFE 3" catback exhaust.
It's running great, and I put it on our gas analyzer at work today and I'm way under the emissions requirements for Washington state.
I'm going to monitor my fuel economy over the next few weeks, but I'm already getting better than the old 4 cylinder (13 MPG).
Overall, I'm very happy with this conversion!
It was VERY affordable, and I hope will be VERY reliable!
Thanks for listening to my ramble, and if anybody is interested in doing a similar swap, I hope I can help!
