I sent the original engine out for rebuiding and got it back last week.
After about five days of staring at it and the car, I decided that I am going to drop the 440 out the bottom along with all the front suspension. Too add to my crazyness (as my wife calls it), I am stripping the underside of the car and painting it the matching purple, along with repainting the engine compartment.
I started today by pulling the rear differential, It's in good shape, but just nasty looking. I think I might try to find a sure-grip for it while I got it apart and cleaning it up,
