Well, we got second both Friday and Sat. night this last weekend at the special on our home track. Was 2 seperate shows and each paid $500 for 2nd, so was good weekend. No problems with the car at all. This was in the IMCA Stock Car class. Same guy won both features, Chad Palmer, who was 2nd at the Supernationals in Boone the weekend before. Looks like we got the valve train issues solved, finally. Ordered a pair of EQ ch318b heads last week and hope they will give us another 20 horses. Ran on a 3/8 mile with 6:33 gears and turned it 7100 all night. Car is really working well right now. Sat we were a full straightaway ahead of 3 rd place. Dan put her right down on the huggy pole and stayed there all night. Palmer has a really stout piece in that car right now.
