Well, I have been away from racing about 2 years now. I have had a lot of things happen that have impacted racing since then. I hope to be back out this coming weekend if everything goes to plan.
The photo is of the 318 short block that is going into the car. It should be a pretty decent piece. I had to change the cam after the last engine was sabotaged, as it was broken. The cam company is no longer in business also. It was a Chevy pattern cam, so there was some performance to pickup by going to a Mopar grind.
At any rate, the old computer prediction was that it made 391 HP, with the changes it makes 395, but I picked up 11 lbft of torque in the process. I also went to a lower friction ring package and plan to use a pan evacuation system. Hopefully with these changes I can make closer to 15 more HP. I don't have the Eq heads yet and am giving up quite a bit of head flow that I have to make up elsewhere. :king:
