I was on MSN Autos, and found some owners reviews on the new Challenger. The biggest bone of contention, at least from those who give the car a fair shake, seems to be the interior styling. That happens to be the one negative comment I hear the most about the Challenger.
It seems most buyers are more than satisfied with the Challenger, but look at the differences of opinion in the two examples below. Obviously one review is by a Chevy guy.

Pros:
Everything except the location of the hands free button and the fact there is no quick release on the drivers seat to get into the back.
Cons:
MPG But with a 425hp 6.1L V8 you gotta expect that.
Overall Review:
If I got to choose again I would buy the challenger!!! :)

too expensive, Too heavy, poor interior design like the Camaro

I just bought a 2010 Camaro SS and now my son drives the R/T, he keeps asking me for the SS, I thought the Challenger was hot when released, but when i test drove the SS, it was all over !. even SRT8 couldn't take my eyes and mind off the Camaro. But the Challenger is still a nice car for my son. That's what i thought when i bought it !. But the chevy SS is sexier,stronger, faster and more affordable by thousands
