Real beer

Now, I know some of you may be starving for really good suds, so let me assist.
Those of us who reside in the last bastion of sanity (The northwest), are priveledged to have what I consider, some of the best beer and wine in the country. I'm sharing this because I empathise with your frustration in satisfying your need for fine alcoholic beverages.
This is a special time of year, when we tend to imbibe in special spirits. Winter ales are becoming very popular. Some (Alaskan Brewing Company) infuse their winter brews with spruce needle oils. I have found their beers to be above reproach.
But, Deschutes brewery, in Bend Oregon, has a winter brew that should knock your socks off. It's called "Jubelale".
If you can find it, take all you can get.
For an extra kick, dump in a small amount of Bourbon or Canadian. It honestly does not get any better.
