A supposedly true story about traffic cameras and tickets.
A fellow in Newfoundland was passing a traffic cam and noticed the flash as he drove through the intersection. He was certain he wasn't speeding, so he went around the block and drove through the intersection a second time ... making sure he was driving under the speed limit as he did so. Again the camera flashed.
He was now starting to think this was pretty funny so he went around the block, a third, fourth and fifth time ... each time reducing his speed until on the fifth go 'round, he was barely moving and made a point of smiling and waving at the camera. He thought the judge would get a kick out of it when he fought the ticket in court because clearly, the machine was out of whack.
One week later, he rec'd 5 tickets in the mail for not wearing a seat belt!
