Well I did it. I needed another car like I needed a hole in the head but her it is. 1970 Dart Swinger (yes another one), 408 Mopar performance engine, 4 speed, 8 3/4 sure grip. Along with the purchase came another 70 swinger parts car in complete form, a 340 engine, rear ends, etc, etc. Maybe I need another hobby.

Long time Mopar guy, new to this site. Monday I am probably buying my next Mopar. Can those here estimate the price range based on my description. I will post pictures and what I paid after I buy it.:-D

On my ’68 fastback what numbers are supost to be stamped on the rad suport, and under the trunk seal on the drivers side? I thought it was the last part of the VIN. Mine isn’t, it has the order number from the build sheet. Is this correct or is something fishy ( no pun intended ) with my Barracuda?

If i take a 68′ 318 w/9.2:1 compression ratio put a #302 head on it, how much milling would be required to hit 10:1? maybe a dumb question but you guys know more than me about that stuff, you guys are the best and true life savers.

I’m detailing out my tail lights and grabbed some Mothers plastic polish. Man does this stuff work. I tried taking a picture but the flash made them both shiny. I just thought I would let you guys/gals know, Now to mask and paint the silver.

Are kyb shocks stiffer than monroe? I have monroes all the way around but the rear seems to soft. When I hit some bumps I think the exhaust slightly rubs the shocks. Will kyb shocks improve the ride. Its a ’74 duster by the way. Thanks
