help, need to order front end kit

I am calling PST to order a front end kit for my mechanic to replace all my bushings. I have large bolt pattern disc brakes, I think from a 1973 Dart.

I dont need any sway bar bushings so my question is should I order the “front end kit” for a 1969 Dart less the stablizer link kit and stablizer
bar bushings? Are ball joints the same for 1969 small bolt pattern and 1973
large bolt pattern?

Compression ratio

Can anyone walk me through calculating compression ratio with different pistons? Im chair flying a few options and would like to see what piston will put me at 10-10.5: 1 on a .030 318. I’ve tossed around heads from aerohead racing, mostly because of ease and cost. 68-70cc open chamber, 160cc intake port volume. 1.88×1.60 valves. Any input would be great, just never been too savvy with the numbers. Thanks guys! Glad to be back.

Full throttle kickdown adjustment vs shift points adjustment

I have finally got the shift points adjusted by shortening the upper rod at the carb but I have never had full throttle kickdown. My qustion is as I shorten or length the rod where it connects to the carb I am changing the travel at the transmission which is keeping the tranny lever from travelling the full way back which is keeping it from full throttle kickdown.

I don’t get it. If I adjust one end I am changing the other end and visa versa?
If I change the lower rod to get full throttle…

69 318

Will a 69 318 have thick cylinder walls? I have heard that some years had this.
