Bought another car. Something needs to go. The little ’65 will have to be it.
was 273-4speed. White / gold interior. nice body and paint.BB disk brake just installed,new lines,hose,calipers ect.,8 3/4 offset hangers,narrowed 3″,no frame cutting or tubs, a 255/60-15 tires fits real nice. Moser axles bb pattern,3″studs,green bearings,all new.3.91 suregrip,ss springs new,the list goes on and on. I have a 318 w/comp cam that is going to go in. I have a 833od,lakewood sheild,clutch ect.

Has anyone had their flat tappet camshaft nitride infused? I am thinking about having this done for the 408 in order to increase the case hardness…

Has anyone had their flat tappet camshaft nitride infused? I am thinking about having this done for the 408 for the ’69 Barracuda in order to increase the case hardness and lobe surface lubricity (is that really a word? ;). Comp will charge me an additional $105 on top of their custom grind fee. I have flattened my share of solids in the past and am seriously considering this. I would just like to hear from those who have had it done and also from anyone with pros/cons. TIA.

She asked the teller, ‘Why it change? Yesterday, I get two hunat dolla fo yen. Today I get hunat eighty? Why it change?’ The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, ‘Fluctuations’.
