Hello, I know its a long shot as I’m having a tough time finding what I need, but here goes. I need rust free left and right fender, trunk lid and rear trunk lid trim panel for my car. I have a 62 Lancer with a slant 6. I’m wanting to drop in a small block. Not new to Mopars, but to Pre 66 A bodies. Will a 66 and up A body K-member fit pre’s? I know of several 63 Dart GT’s in yards around here, one that had a 273. I know all SB will fit the V8 K’s, but will the pre-66 Dart and Lancer share the same chassis dimentions? Any help will be appreciated.

Kipper here, just found the site as I’m back into activly ‘rodding a 62 Lancer. Had three 68 Chargers, a 69 Dart GT convert, and several winter rats. I need to come up to speed on “Pre-A bodies”. So help a fella out. Been to lots of SE Oklahoma yards and know of a few Mopars A-B-E bodies, but out here they are rare, and the yards are proud of what thet got ($$$$). Will be willing to share all that I don’t need. Thanks, Kipper

I am sure this has been answered before but I couldn’t locate it. I need a new thermostat, but am unsure which temp I need. The engine is a /6 and 3 different temps are available. 160, 180 and 192. Could someone please educate me on the criteria for selecting one temp over another? It doesn’t seem like it should have to be this difficult, lol.

Engine:

-1968 440 with less than 1500 miles on fresh rebuild
-steel crank(10/10),ARP main studs
-Milodon oil pan and pickup
-Melling HV oil pump
-System 1 reusable oil filter
-reworked LY rods with ARP bolts

removed many years ago from a 64 valiant 100 plus shipping, which will be high,cuz it’s cast iron
