Up for sale is a ’61 Valiant Suburban, with some rust but the seller doesn’t say where or how bad. He can’t show actual pictures of the car because it is in the someone else’s possession.
Also, the trim and some parts have been removed and are supposedly residing inside the wagon. So he shows pictures of a fairly decent-looking Suburban with the trim intact. WTF?? Is this the car he’s selling, or not?

Only a 6.40 first trip out sucks!
Took the dart to the local 1/8 and the fastest pass was the first. I turned the transbrake down to 3400. and I had put a new shifter in with the trans button on it and the car left okay but I accidently pulled it into second not far out and ran a 6.40 @121. The next passes i had a short in the trans brake and the other one where the brake held i blew the tires off. I was wanting to run in the 5’s so bad. Maybe next time. I need to get new rear springs I can put all my weight on the trunk and…
4 speed console shifters
Is anyone using the Hurst 4084 stick in a factory A-body 4 speed console (like the one pictured)? If so, are any modifications required and do you have pictures? I have been keeping a look out for the factory Hurst stick with the curves at a good price but with no luck. If the Hurst 4084 is usable, I would be interested in a used one if anyone out there has one to sell. Thanks
