Got room for another newbie?
Hey all. Just got back into the muscle car scene with the recent purchase of my ’68 ‘Cuda. She’s a pretty nice driver with a 440, 727 auto, 3.91 sure grip. It sucks buying in the beginning of winter but it gives me time to give her a once over so I’m sure I’ll have some questions that I’ll be asking of you, if you don’t mind?It’s nice to find a site where us A body guys can hang out!
340 aluminum heads
im looking for a set of aluminum heads, preferably eddy 60179 for a 340 , thanks guys
10″ front drums
Hiya gang…
Just curious if anyone out there has a set of 10″, small bolt pattern, front drums with hubs and studs intact… the studs need to be right hand thread. 2 of the studs in my drivers side drum were broke, and went to 3 differant part stores, the stud they have listed just does not fit.. the shank is apparently to narrow.. so I had the studs welded in.. already had the welds fail once.. If anyone can help.. I would appreciate it..
69 Dart disc brake swap??
My son and I are getting ready to perform a disc brake swap on his 69 Dart (his first car). I have a couple of questions I was hoping someone could answer for us.
Our car is a 69 Dart with drums/drums.
The donor car is a 73 Dart disc/drum.
We were able to get all the parts from the donor car except the master cylinder and distribution block.
My questions are:
1. Can we use the original 69 distribution block if we put in an adjustable proportioning valve from Summit between the distribution…
Complete 69 floorpan
I have a complete floor pan out of a 1969 Dart.It is from the firewall seam to the front of the rear seat.It was automatic on the colum car.This is rustfree not even any scale or surface rust.I also have a rust free cowl,and radiator support.I may be willing to sell the passengerside of the floor pan.Make me a offer I don’t really want to ship.I need the money for a 54 Dodge truck. 1970 duster clone. need opinions.
hey guys im looking at trading my mustang for a 1970 340 4 speed duter clone. the car is basically rust free. the only rust spot i found was next to the windshield trim and its not much just a nickel sized spot. anyways here are some pictures of the car and i will include a link to my car at the end of the post.
