Can anyone shed some light on my problem? I am upgrading my 65 dart gt with a 727. I have at my disposal a 1986 small block 727. My question is about this model, it has some sort of wire connection coming out of the driver side of it. Is this some sort of computer module that I will have problems with or are there any other issues on this year model. Should I get an earlier model 727 or will this one work. Any help will be greatly appreciated,Thx

I’m finally getting to the point that I need some specs and procedures for my Dart and 340 etc.

What manuals have you found helpful (or not) and where can they be found? Amazon has everything but I like to support smaller business’s if possible.

So I ordered a Redline Gauge Works dash blank for the Duster, and it arrived today. I was somewhat disappointed when I picked it up and felt its thickness, or lack thereof. My question is that with its lack of reinforcement, will it actually be able to hold up to repeated drag strip launches, even in a slow (mid-12s) car? I would figure for $100, the plastic should at least be as thick as the retail packaging that anything comes in.

Or are my fears unfounded?

Ok well I’ve noticed that now with my swinger in the garage it can’t start in the morning the battery is dead and I always have to jump it. I mean after its jumped it’s fine through the day and it has a new battery. And I noticed my fusible link is melted slightly on the plastic connector and when I touched it the car wouldn’t turn over and no power inside and then touched it again and everything worked again. So I’m wondering could this be one of many causes for my battery getting drained.

Has anyone use these before? Is it a universal fit meaning it will work for a chrysler rallye wheel? It list it as being 14X7 but I think my wheels are 14X6. You think these will still snap in? I couldn’t imagine being a difference.
