what is lighter??
hey i was just wondering what front brake setup is lighter: 73-76 disc brakes or a ’68 9 inch drum. My bets are on the 9 inch drum but i was wondering if all you knowledgeable FABO members could give me a for-sure answer.
weld through primer
I’m sure there is a thread about this that i couldn’t find (i did look really). I’m helping my cousin with his 70 gtx we have sand blasted and cleaned the frame and trunk pans and used 3m weld thru primer on the tops of the frame and the bottom of the pans. the problem is when we started to spot the pans in the welds splatter and burn thru. everything is nice and clean and close i’m using a millermatic 135 with gas. LH lug nuts?
I have an old set of Ansen Sprint small bolt pattern wheels that I want to put on my 67 Barracuda. All of the lug nuts I have are right handed and the Barracuda has left hand lug nuts. I’ve done some looking online and I can’t find what I need. Summit Racing has some that are similar, but they are for Crager wheels and not the right length.
The ones for the rear have a 1 3/16″ long shank and the others are 13/16″ long shank for the front. The shank diameter is approximately 11/16″. …
