Trans Mount Experts
Hey all,
I am trying to buy a new trans mount for my 66 dart. The old mount is in bad shape but I can read the part number. (I don’t have it with me right now) Anyway, I can buy the new mount for like 12 bucks but it appears to be 3/4″ taller than the mount I took off the car. I haven’t been able to find any info out to see if there was an early or late version etc. The car was an original V8 car and it has 1 stud on it that goes through the crossmember……….So, was there two…
Intake ?

I’m about to install my LD340 back on to my 340.
Read on different sites that some block the crossover at the head and some at the intake. I would say 50/50.
My thinking….even with gaskets with blocked crossovers, wouldn’t it be better to block it at the head, which is the source of the heat.
I was going to use some 1/8″ aluminum with some red RTV, then the gasket.
Bull Run Or Bull Crap?
I watched it last night. It seemed a little hokey to me. Like a info commercial for car products & shelby mustwangs. I never could understand what the contestants were saying. Every other word was BLEEPED out. All that I saw was a road trip from LA to Vegas. Then there was the stunt show. The Dart did look cool, although I would have keep the wheels to a 15 or 16 inch. I’m just showing my age on this. What did everyone think?
Mopars At The Motorplex – April 18th, 2009
This is the second year for the Mopars At The Motorplex event.
April 18th, 2009 at the Motorplex in Ennis, Texas.
This year there will be racing, a car show, swap meet and vendor area. Vehicles must be either Mopar or Mopar powered. All brands are allowed in the Nostalgia Superstock and Nostalgia Musclcar classes.
