Rear Engine Dragster Roller Trade
Getting out of racing so looking to get rid of my 1991 R.E.D. minus motor. Has shorty Power Glide with trans brake. Weighed approx 1500 lbs. with a 446″ with out driver. I’m 6’3″ 245 and fit snug. The chassis was previously NHRA and IHRA certified but, due to rule changes, will need helmet bars made or purchased and installed to certify. Needs paint as well. does anyone have a pic of a rally dash frame? I am about to modify my non rally dash frame to accept the rally gauges and was wondering how Chrysler did it.

Interesting update on “crappy” repro fan shrouds
So I was communicating via email with Todd at Hoffmans Winners Circle recently and I mentioned the problem I had with a “614” fan shroud not fitting right and warping into the fan after a very short time. I know others have complained about this. (I believe Hoffmans is the primary wholesaler of these repro shrouds to all the other retailers).
He offered to have a replacement drop-shipped to me from his manufacturer in Ohio – say’s they’re constantly improving the plastic formula but still…

I have a 440 i want to make streetable… what is the highest you guys would run on compression to be able to have a engine that runs good on premium pump gas? it has a set of edelbrock aluminum heads that will be installed on it…
