318 roller motor
I recieved a low milege 318/904 out of a dippy, My question is can i change the cam shaft back to a hyd tappet cam, or am i stuck with the roller set up. The heads are #302 still with shaft mounted rockers. I just wanted to change the cam , add a 4 barrel carb and set of headers, for a friends car (he doesnt have much money) and want to use the 318. Has any on used the stock roller cam with 4 barrle and headers?

after a light , but hard mini restoration .. the car is coming back from the grave , when i bought the car , it was not verry well running , and the floors where rusted at 90 % now , my good friend nick who gave me the love for the a bodies ( he ad a 1971 340 , pro-street demon ) was doing the complete interior floors , with hand made pieces , and a lot of welding he finally finished the job on the car . and new aftermarket parts where installed ..

Hey guys any guess as to why my 81 D150 /6 will not hit 180*? I thought maybe the thermostat was stuck open so I replaced it last night with a new 180* and it still doesnt make it past 160* I let the damn thing sit in the drive way for atleast 30 min. last night after changing it and still didnt change anything. Same results this morning on the way to work. I think Ill try a good ol’ truckers trick. Im going to try blocking off part of the radiator and see if that helps. Any ideas though? I…
