hello i have a 71 dodge dart swinger for sale it is a 2dr 360 4 bbl 727 automatic 8 3/4 with 323 gears. runs and drives great. everything under the hood is new andhas about 200 miles on rebuild. the engine bay was just painted 69 charger red the 360 is stock other than a holley dp weiand intake and a mild cam. the only rust on thecar is behind the rear passenger quarter, and on the passenger side where the factory welded the top on the car. I have a full set of (4) armrests, (4) backing plates, Two ashtrays and retainers. These armrests are original white and are still soft and not cracked anywhere. The backing plates have no guide pins on them from the factory. The front backing plates do and of the four pins (two on each) one backing plate is missing about 60% of one of the pins (see picture). In the Bowl assembly on the Carb where the Accelerator pump goes into it there is a small Aluminum Ball that is supposed to be a part of a check valve.
Mine is seized up in the hole and I cannot figure out how to get it out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I received my June 2010 issue of Car Craft magazine yesterday and found a great feature article on pgs. 22-27 about building a 480hp Mopar 408″ stroker smallblock. The build was done by FABO’s own “ou812”, Brian Hafliger of IMM Engines in Indio, CA.
Good article with lots of good information and tips.
Just one thing though Brian, what’s up with painting a Mopar Chevy orange????
