Not downing anyone, but I got a bum steer on modifying a 273 mount for a 318 swap. I found a very detailed drawing showing how to add a triangular piece of steel to the PASSENGER side mount to accomadate the imposed two bolt mounting tab on the 318. Problem was (discovered after 3 days of getting nowhere) the drawing showed the slanted mount (driver side) being modified instead of the box shaped actual RIGHT side bracket.
