i have a 1966 plymouth valiant conv. the motor is out for rebuilding as we speak its the orginal 225 slant 6 for the car. its a rollor. and needs some work but body is in good shape and frame has no rust. well worth it. im asking 1000 or best offer. thanks eric

8 1/4 contact pattern

Hi.

Does this look ok contact pattern??

8 1/4 rear whith motive 3.2 gears
backlash is 0.01” , guide says between 0.008 -0.012 is fine
shims are 0.04 thick
pinion is torqued to 25 inch pounds

my only consern is the lower part of the contact pattern is it too clear edge???

I hope this thread hasn’t been created already somewhere. This is for any cool stuff you want to show off, cars, parts, tools whatever! Here’s mine…..a ’52 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door hardtop! My dad had one of these in the 50’s as his cool ride. I’ve always kept an eye out for one and this one was dirt cheap. BTW, that’s the original minty green/black paint from the factory and mostly original interior (with crazy 50’s style door panels) Has a completely intact 218 flathead…
