Ever since the Challenger was planned -- there have been calls for a factory convertible like Mustang and Camaro have. Currently, if you want a convertible, you have to pay Mr. Norm and extra $30,000 to whack the top off.
Mopar Muscle magazine is reporting that there will not be a Challenger Convertible.
I have a friend with good inside information at Chrysler -- and he says that the Challenger sales are miserable, and Dodge just assume drop the model. Soon they'll be wheeling out the re-badged Fiats.
