Courtney Force became the winningest female Funny Car driver of all-time on Sunday at the NHRA Sonoma Nationals at the Sonoma Raceway in California, defeating her father, John Force, in the final round, 4.25 to 4.40. The Top Fuel final, likewise, was an affair between a pair of teammates, as Khalid alBalooshi defeated Shawn Langdon, 3.91 to 4.00, for his second victory of the season. In Pro Stock, Jason Line bested V. Gaines by a 6.54 to 6.56 count, while Eddie Krawiec used a stellar 6.85 in the final to oust Jerry Savoie, who fouled out on the starting line.

Must be nice to have a half dozen businesses that are all mega buck firm:. GRP (aluminum connecting rods), Fineline Graphs (race car designs, etc.), Madcap (performance engine building shop), several new car dealer shops across the west and does all the trucking for Miller Lite Beer west of the Mississippi. One of the nicer guys around in this sport...
