96 Breeze 2.0 SOHC. 114k miles, I get a nasty knock or ping at about 18-2k RPM under part throttle. I can throttle back and itll go away and if I put my foot into it, I dont get it, but its bugging me. sounds like its really hurting the 'ol mill. Does it sound like injector cleaning, lifters, fuel pressure or just tired bearings? I seafoamed it last year but didnt seem to help knock any and its getting worse over the last few weeks. I get no codes on the OBD2 scan tool and I cant really measure fuel pressure unless I can do it with a tire pressure tester and a lot of rags....Any suggestions? Are 2L motor injectors somewhat universal? I bet I can find a load of these off Neons at the yard. Thanks.
