Maybee I'm a horder? I replaced a 360 out of a Durango a few weeks back. Customer says "keep the old one"........ok. Beer barrel manifold, injectors, ect still there.
So I have it in the shop, wondering what I can do with it? It run's, looses oil pressure when hot and starts knocking. The rebuild is not the problem. I cant find out what I might need to put it in my aspen? What transmissions will bolt up to it? I like automatics, and can get 904's/727's no problem. Search found nothing. Do I need a newer trans? I know I can get a carb and manifold, ect. I'm looking for a "how to, and what will fit"?
I'm just toying with ideas right now. Would really like to go computer controlled and keep the FI(more complex, but I can do it). Really would like to see a 1978 Dodge Aspen R/T clone with a new model drivetrain, That would be sweet! I have acess to a couple good salvage yard's too.
