Lost my nephew to Street Racing

I lost a nephew, and my cousin (my first best friend as we're only a year apart) lost his only son in a car accident. I don't know the details except that my cousin had been very concerned about his son's street racing, and thatJoshua Francis and his girlfriend Amy died Saturday night in a high speed accident.
I'm all about all types (drag, road...) of racing, but please take it to the track where your car goes through a safety inspection; the track surface is properly cleaned and prepped; there are barriers to protect spectators; fire and ambulance safety is on hand; you wear a helmet, neck brace, and fire suit; have a cage and five point harness surround you; and most importantly - don't have innocent people as your obstacles.
I hope his street racing friends show the intelligence to allow this tragedy to be their epiphany to take the racing off the street and onto the track before they either kill an innocent person or put another parent through the horrible experience of seeing their child go before them.
Please share with those thinking street racing is cool.
