How easy to put in a new carb on a Scamp?

My eldest son has a 72 Scamp 225 1 barrel. Carb needs replacing. He wants to know how easy it is to replace such a carb and what one needs to be careful with (adjusting?) since he's asking my younger son to put it in for him. Thanks.
