Forward bite w leafs??

im racing at a track thats pretty new to me this year. its a really flat paved 1/4 that you never really get straight on. Im getting KILLED off the turns and having to make it up the second half of the straight and into the turns..entry is awesome and very neutral but about the time i even THINK about giving it any gas I'm spinning the LR and guys are driving into the back of me or up under my quarter. it makes things interesting going into the one groove turns. second groove sucks

When I bought this car he had a really stiff RR spring and a Stiff LR..it seemed odd but i left it to see what it really did. it has a 2" block in the left and 3" in the right. over the last 2 weeks i have cut a LOT out of the RR spring (rear segment only) and taken one good sized chunk off of the LR. it has helped..I installed a pair of Afco tie down rear shocks, they stopped the wheel hop i had under brake, but not sure if they helped forward bite
the car is a 70 satellite with a 1 1/8 sway bar and 1 3/16 torsions.
I know most on here are dirt, but if it bites on dirt it will on pavement. What do you guys run or suggest I try?? HELP!
