8 1/4 diff, makes the strangest clunking/clicking sound when it's turned at a slight angle when stopped and starting, is this a commmon noise? I can actually rock the car and get that sound from the left rear wheel (turned left). Just bought the car and don't know what's inside it. Is this a lim. slip issue?
How I discovered this was taking a 3 hour drive, never heard a peep out of it, got home, got out to open garage door, pulled in and angled slightly left, when I heard this noise.
