Cracked Head???

I am running 308 heads on my pure stock and it gets hot just idling 185+ , on the track it's 225+. Running a double pass rad, good shroud, solid 5 blade fan, been with thermostat, without, gutted, same result. Had waterpump belt off with t-stat housing off and see no bubbles, put air on spark plug holes, no bubbles. I had 190 degrees the other night timing it in the shop!!! I have a CO detector set i'm going to try now, Do some cracks just show up after 175 180 degrees?? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
