Brake issue ’78 Magnum

Well since winter has set in I've not done much on the Magnum. Really the only thing left is some minor body work and then paint. So I've been enjoying just driving. A while back on the way home I nothiced the brake pedal was going to the floor. Braking was diminshed but we were still able to stop. When checking fluid levels the back half of the MC was dry. I refilled it but didn't drive the car for a week. Went to check the level before leaving and it was dry again, just the back half of the MC. Rainy weekends and freezing weather has hampered any detailed diagnosis and repair. Thought the MC may be leaky and bought and installed a new one. Bench bled it before installing. Pedal was still to the floor with only front brakes grabbing. Bled rear brakes this weekend, pedal seemed to firm up and then went to the floor again. Rear shoes are still good, rain came so all work ended.

When I push the brake pedel I hear a whoosh sound inside the car like air being pushed through something. The pedal is easy to push, so it appears the Vac. booster is still working. I have no puddles on the ground and no leakage inside that I could find. I'm baffled but not having time to really get into it is also frustrating.

Any ideas? Could it be the proportioner valve assembly? or could the new MC be bad too?
