My process of changing out my exterior bulbs to LEDs revealed an issue with the back-up lamps. After diagnosing from the bulbs at the rear all the way back to under the dash, I found the problem lies in the switch at the base of the steering column. It would seem I have two issues there.
#1 - the switch does not slide side to side in any way.
#2 - it looks like my column is missing the ‘Operating Level’ depicted in the FSM
