This is the cap from the mags by Pacer that I bought about 10 months ago for my 04 Dodge Cummins 2500 crew cab.. I sprayed them down with WD 40 when I installed them plus oiled them once. As you can see it didn’t make much difference. I expect the problem is cheap chrome plating.
