My Son an I attended Fall Fling on October 23. Against what we expected, there were a good number of cars there, especially since it was raining earlier in the morning. Didn’t take any pictures of the Swap, which seemed lower than two years ago. There were far less food vendors, and the Ice Cream Van was no where to be seen! Even so, we had a good time!

1970 Seat Foam
Hey People. I’m still looking for pre-cut seat foam for my ’70 Newport. I can find two sites that sell foam for ’69 C Bodies, but none for the ’70. Can anyone tell me if the two would be the same?
Headrests, seatbacks, foam
Hey Friends. My wife gave me a Christmas Present to redo my interior. Yay!! Yesterday I ordered new seat covers for the front, back, and the center armrest with map pocket. I also ordered new carpet. I was a little disappointed when I received the notice from Legendary that the expected delivery date was from now to 193 days! Geeze, didn’t see that in their fine print. Well, at least I’ve finally pulled the trigger and there is a future new interior coming!

Took my Newport to its first show since June of ’17. A local show at Gridley, CA, in support of its Fire and Police Departments. Nothing big, and a free entry. Had fun.
Finally, Driving It Again!
I’ve had a fun 15 months of chasing electrical gremlins and power steering leaks. Last Tuesday, I drove my Newport out of town for the first time since October, 2019. Last Saturday I drove to the bank and then to Big Al’s Happy Burger to get Frances and I lunch.
While there I received a number of compliments, but the best was from a little boy about 4 years old. I kept hearing, “Nice car, nice car.” When I turned to look he was there with his father with a big smile on his face!!!…
