While perusing eBay in August, 2003, I found a listing fro a ’70 Newport ragtop in Nevada. Seller was claiming it to be a factory 440 car and the bid was stalled at $3,500. car looked good in the pictures, but the seller was clearly wrong about the motor as he had posted the VIN and it had a L in it.
