I am in the process of getting a remanufactured cylinder head for my 225 slant six. When it gets to me I plan to take it to a machine shop to get the head shaved down. From what I’ve seen on other forums and sites is that the general amount to take off is either .090 or .060 inches. What is the max amount of material I can take off without having to worry about other things such as valves and such?

Currently have a 2.76 gear in my 7.25 rear. I’d like to put a 3.23 into it for a bit more torque.

Hello all, I have a 1980 volare and and my steering system has play in it, after some evaluation I’ve found that the play is in the steering box, I recently replaced it anyway, is there any way to 100 percent get rid of the steering wheel play?

So I recently did a 1 to 2bbl carb swap on my 1980 volare and aside from my repair manual I still seem to be having trouble with finding out what vacuum line goes where. Anybody have a diagram or info that could help me?
