Those of you who installed an aftermarket A/C solenoid onto your carb; where did you get the power from? Did you splice into the compressor hot wire with a tap, or did you solder a wire into the comp hot wire? Wondering the best way to do this.

The hood scoops on my 72 Challenger are blocked with the original black plates. Is there any benefit to opening those to let hot air out while sitting in traffic? I know my newer 2021 Challenger has several hood vents to let hot air out. Just wondering.

The rubber gasket on my 72 Challenger gas cap fell apart. The cap is painted and in nice shape so I don’t want to replace it. Is there such a thing as a replacement gasket for these caps?
