Buying new blueline tires for the 15″ Magnum 500 wheels and want to know what sizes can be safely chosen without risking any clearance problems.

-Can 15×8 wheels be used in the front with say 235 tires? (Has 7×15 and 235 now)

-With 15×8 in the rear, what size will fill out the wheel well best w/o rubbing?

-Can say 275/50 be used since the diameter is about equal to 235/60..?

So, still looking for another set of wheels to ship over to Norway with the car to have a different look from the Magnum 500s that’s on it now.

Have found a wheel we like but not sure about fitments. My buddy is concerned with the lack of space behind the fender skirts.

They come in 15, 17, 18 and 20 inches but we are only considering 15 or 17.

Will 17×7 fronts and 17×8 rears be a problem you think? They can be had with either 0 mm or +6 mm offsets it seems.

Hi everybody.

Thought I would start a thread on my wife’s 67 Newport Custom. We live in Norway, but I have been into musclecars for many years, and have also been importing cars for the last 8 years or so.

I bought the 67 together with a 65 New Yorker (both 2 dr ht) 4-5 years ago through my good friend in Michigan who’s a real Mopar expert. Both cars have been sitting there ever since along with my 64 Dodge that’s gonna be built as a Max Wedge race clone when the 67 is done.
