I think it’s cool

Took my buddy on a 2,000 mile roundtrip to pick up some stuff from the in-laws in Milwaukee as they are downsizing. Rented a 2020 Ram with the 5.7 Hemi-what an unbelievably awesome rental! That thing flew. The first item(s) I grabbed were my father-in-law’s vinyl record collection. It is AWESOME. Currently sorting through everything and there are 9 (1’x2’x1′) boxes of records and 1 (1’x2’x1′) box of 45’s. Love me some vinyl…

Additionally, I grabbed a GE refrigerator circa 1949 that was in…

1964 Power Steering Box

I am looking for this style of power steering box. It bolts to the inner frame rail, rather than on the cross member (such as the more popular models beginning in 1965). Anyone have one in decent shape?

440 Stroker Assembly Ideas

Happy Birthday ‘Merica. I don’t care if it’s the 3rd. Like any good American on their birthday, we show up early, kick names, take ass and we’re gone before anyone knows what hit ’em. Commando1, I am looking at you when I say that.

Now, onto the real reason I am posting in here, my stroker build. I have the short block assembled for my 505 Stroker Kit courtesy of 440source with the dished pistons and need some suggestions on where to go from here. It’s a long, arduous, costly journey, but I…

Rear Wheel Arch

Hey Guys,

I know I just posted the Cracked Door Repair thread, but piggybacking off that I wanted to follow up with my rear wheel arch issue too (bondo crapshow). I actually think I posted on this a while ago, but didn’t have the pic to back it up.

I’ve replaced the floor pans and figured I might give this a whirl, but I am not sure where to start in regards to a replacement arch. Sure as hell can’t find them for 64 New Yorkers so I would be looking at some kind of modified arch from…

Door Crack Repair

Hi Guys,

I have this to deal with on the top of the 64 New Yorker’s driver side front door. The metal under the door is fine, but I am looking for ideas about how to fix the crack in the plastic panel. I have some PC-7 epoxy, would that work with a little bit of sanding and whatnot?

Thanks!

1964 Rear Axle Assembly Question

Hey Guys,

Freezin me arse off up here in New Hampshire (high of minus 10) and while assembling the rear axle shafts on my 64 New Yorker I had a question. Keep in mind I am working with the ever-so-famous tapered axles with the hub key. I also did the tapered axle conversion for what it’s worth:

Mopar Tapered Axle Brakes

Both shafts seem to be seated and spin correctly as I have utilized my dial indicator, shimmed both sides…
